Eduardo Posada

Policy Analyst

Eduardo Posada is a policy analyst with IISD’s Energy Program, tracking the energy transition and advocating for supply-side policies to phase out oil and gas in a just and equitable way. He implements computing solutions to achieve faster, more robust data analysis.

Before joining IISD, Eduardo worked at the NewClimate Institute in Berlin, where he tracked climate action in private corporations and national governments. He also worked at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change, where he assisted in the classification of climate policies. Eduardo holds a master’s degree in biological sciences from Universidad de los Andes and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Hertie School in Berlin. He is based in Toronto, Canada.
